a comforting thought
in the vipers nest
pre destined caught
being a hijda in a mans world
in a womans guise
they rot

they deserve what they got
so appeal after appeal
to a regressive government
comes down to naught
on the soul of a 3000 year old

Edwin is a very creative make up artist, but did his make up in haste, he had reached Bipins house at 1.30pm, we left for August Kranti Maarg at 2 .35 pm..

Edwins best pictures are of his doing his make up, I shall post this as cross dressing at the end of this event.This is a very long series.
My focusing was giving me trouble ..a new problem with my Nikon D80..

Today I came to August Kranti Marg to shoot the Gay Parade – a strength of solidarity by the gays, bisexual, transgender against the demonic satanic archaic law called Article 377 a gift from the British Vampire..a blood sucking act to oppress the marginalised because of their choice of sexuality, alternate sexuality so be it, and their choice of gender.. third gender..
This draconian law has been scrapped everywhere but in India it is used to persecute homosexuals , lesbians, bisexuals hijdas , transgender..
Mr A Ramadoss erstwhile Minster of Health summed it very clearly that Article 377 must go..at the recently concluded International Aids Conference..

Yes it should be scrapped ..
The scrapping of this horrendous Act would win laurels for the Central government and the blessings of the persecuted to last another 5 years in power..

Laxmi Narayan my Hijda Guru led the parade from the front, she is a champion of this movement to get rid of Article 377 ably supported by Muskan .

Laxmi Narayan Tripathi was the Queen of the Gay Parade ..there was no other to match her aura and screen presence,,
I must add here that Edwin with whom I came to the Gay Parade and shot her extensively at Fashion Designer Bipin Tannas house, Bipin had styled her costume and I shall post these pictures at the end of this event..
Edwin is a celebrity make up artist..

Please note more than the gays , lesbians , bisexuals hijdas it was normal people that rubbed shoulders to see the early riddance of Article 377 an insult to human rights..

I was invited to transgender Simran Dancers birthday party on 6 August 2006 at a private bunglow on Madh Island.I took a rickshah at 8pm from Bandra and reached Madh at about 9 .30 pm, I had tough time locating the bunglow .
When I did manage to find it, and entered the premises I found it was Marc de Clercq staring at me in the darkness.He too had been invited here by Simran Dancer .. the kindly transgender.
I had missed to meet Marc at Ajmer Urus 2008, though he was part of the troupe of Hijdas with Laxmi Narayan Tripathi.Marc told me that Laxmi Narayan Tripathi is now in Mexico for an Aids conference.
Marc shoots with a a Leica digital and a 1mm lens at ISO 1250 no flash. And the beauty of Marc as a photographer he shoots without being seen though he is as white as Belgian snow.
I stand out like a sore thumb, I shoot with style bending my body like a human tripod. I mostly shoot on one leg..Yogic Kundalini.. uncoiling the Serpent within me.
The party started very late the Hijdas also came in very late .
It was completely crowded by 2 Am , Simran was gorgeous , she cut her birthday cake sharing the first bite with Salma the Hijda Activist and her Guru.
Some of the most fabulously looking HIjda were here , as my pictures will show, I am bad with names, but there was Mona Kum Kum, Sabreena, Alisha,Natasha, Nishi the Cross Dresser Gina, .
The very cream of pretty Hijdas were here with their boy friends and cute looking toy boys. There were closet queens the gays , all varieties of transgender souls on display.
There were exotic , hybrid homosexuals too.
There were macho young men with gay hearts pinned on their sleeves
This is the most exciting series I shot till 5am I returned home at 7Am.
I presented Simran a string of Tibetan Turquoise.

I spoke to Marc about Dr Glenn Losack MD.
Marc is also a part of Planet Gender.
